Isaac Lottman

Isaac Lottman (2003) started playing the cello when he was 2 years old and took his first lessons with Aatie Aarts at the age of three. Later he took lessons with Monique Bartels and Charles Watt. At the age of 13 he went to the Sweelinck Academy in Amsterdam where he studied with Monique Heidema. After completing high school, he did a preparatory year at the Amsterdam Conservatory with Maarten Mostert and Pieter Wispelwey. He is currently in his third bachelor year in Amsterdam and studies with Pieter Wispelwey. Isaac has had masterclasses with Jean-Guihen Queyras, Dmitri Ferschtman and Anastasia Kobekina.

He played several solo concerts with youth and student orchestras in the Netherlands.

In 2022 he received second prize at the Cello Biennale Competition. Isaac also plays a lot of chamber music.
